The Centre for Coastal Climate Resilience and Adaptation (CCCRA) is a strategic initiative of REEF devoted to strengthening the adaptive capacity of coastal ecosystems and communities in response to the escalating impacts of climate change. Our coastlines face increasing threats from sea-level rise, erosion, extreme weather, and ecological degradation, making integrated and proactive resilience planning essential.

At CCCRA, we focus on translating scientific research into practical action through ecosystem restoration, community empowerment, capacity building, and climate-informed policy advocacy. By bridging knowledge with implementation, we aim to foster sustainable solutions that protect biodiversity while supporting the livelihoods of coastal populations.

Through collaboration with researchers, institutions, policymakers, and grassroots stakeholders, we envision resilient coastlines that are prepared, protected, and adaptable for future generations.
